Dear Readers and Aspiring Students,

This post is dedicated to all who dream to become successful in their Cambridge O Level/ IGCSE. You can be as successful as can be if you set your mind to it along with a dedicated team of O Level specialist teachers. In Honsbridge, teachers are blessed to have shared the steep and successful learning cuves of our graduates. We have touched the lives of three successful batches of students who have come from homeschooling and International/ SMK schools backgrounds. Indeed, students and parents chose Honsbridge for reasons where their current providers are lacking and also simply to rekindle the students' interest to excel in studies.

One Year Express O Level May 2010 Graduates

1. Lauren Tan: 4A*2A (Math, Business Studies, History, Bible Knowledge, English and Physical Science) Recently, Lauren has been awarded a full scholarship from KDU to undertake her Pre-University studies in 2011.

2. Zoraya Jaione Vadillo: 3A1B1C (Math, Business Studies, History, English and Physical Science) Zoraya is currently dedicating her time to running a business whilst in pursuit of her Pre-Uni studies.

3. Elise Wong: 3B (Math, English and Business Studies) Elise has since started her Cambridge A Level in BAC to do Law and has completed her AS exams in Jun 2011, her dream to becoming a Lawyer is on track since completing her O Levels.

4. Joshua Cheong: 1A*2A1B (Physical Science, English, Bible Knowledge, Math) Joshua has since started his Cambridge A Level at Methodist College in 2011.

5. Timothy Au: 3A2C (English, Physical Science, History,Math, Business Studies) Tim has since started his Monash University Foundation Year in 2011.

One Year Express O Level Nov 2010 Graduates

6. Micheleine Liew: 1A*1B2C (English, Math, Physical Science, Business Studies) Michelein has since started her Pre-University studies at Taylors Lakeside University in 2011.

7. Shaun Lim: 1A*1A2B (English,History,Math and Business Studies) Shaun has since started his Cambridge A Level at Serangoon JC in Singapore this Jan 2011.

1.5 year Express O Level May 2011 Graduates

8. Julia Zulkfli: 2A*2C (English, Malay, Business Studies and Math) Julia has since started her dream course in Graphic Design and Advertising Course at the One Academy this Sept 2011.

9. Paripoorani: 3Bs (English, Math, Business Studies) Pari has since started her Cambridge A Level at BAC to do Law this Sep 2011.

10. Daniel Liew: 1A* 2A 3B (Chemistry, Physics, Math, Business Studies, Add Math, English) Daniel has since enrolled to study Cambridge A Level in Taylors University College.

11. Samantha Chan: 3C (English, Business Studies and History) Samantha is currently preparing for her next two O Level examinations in the Oct/ Nov 2011 sitting.

12. Shaun Stanley: 1A3B(Physics, Chemistry, Math, English) Shaun is currently preparing for his next O Level examinations in the Oct/ Nov 2011 sitting.

13. Nicholas Isaac Yu: 1B2C (English, Math and Business Studies) Nicholas is currently preparing for his next O Level examinations in the Jan 2012 sitting.

As I typed, my heart is with my graduating students of the Class Nov 2011 Exam session. They are taking their O Level exam now. My team and i wish all our beloved studentsthe very best of luck to pass their exams with flying colours.

What is GCSE, IGCSE and O Level in Malaysia context?

For a very long time, the Education Ministry of Malaysia has recognised the importance of English language in higher education. Hence, the UPSR and SPM examinations have now included English as the written scripts in Maths and Science examinations. This is a fine example of meeting the changing needs of students today. Burning the midnight oil is not necessary the way forward, but chances are you will be mugging at whatever odd times that best suit you. I remember when i used to prepare for exams wherever i was, night time was always the best time for me to study as it was cool and quite. With no distraction whatsover, i had soft music on and had a few aroma candles burnt, i would work out all the sums and essays as time ticked by.
