Christmas has arrived early this 22 nd November as Honsbridge approaches the last school holiday of 2016. The day before, the Honnets have helped in adorning the school with ornaments, presents, Christmas trees and other decorations, as well as some creative takes such as a snowmen made from plastic bottles and a huge snowman made entirely of paper. By morning on 22 nd November, the Honnets began their Christmas fun starting by playing Human Chess. This chess lets Honnets be chess pieces as they move and strategize along a large chessboard. The Human Chess aims to test Honnets on their mental and strategic skills while they are having fun playing the game. Next, the Honnets participate in a Christmas play, in which a rich, spoiled family adopted an orphan. The orphan, who has been bullied by his stepsiblings, ran away in tears, only to be visited by Santa Claus. Honsbridge English Enrichment Curriculum in support of World Scholars' Cup 2012 Dear Avid Readers, On English Enrichment, I am pleased to share with you that Honsbridge has invited all students to benefit from the training and preparatory sessions for the Malaysia Regional World Scholars' Cup Competition , 31 March & 1 April 2012 (Saturday-Sunday). The Global Round is scheduled to be held on the 21- 24 Jun 2012 in Bangkok. The first WSC training has since been conducted on the 4 Feb 2011 (Saturday) at 10am-12pm. The turn out for the awareness and training sessions was amazing. Dear parents and students, The Cambridge O Level/ IGCSE exams are finally over! I hope that all the students' hardwork had paid off in their exams, and here is a big toast to greater achievements to all students. Since the beginning of the new term this Apr, our teachers along with the students have started to compile the yearbook at Honsbridge. It is yet another ambitious project to involve students academically and in extra-curricular activities.
