Dear Avid Readers,

Last year, I promised the students that Honsbridge will be rolling out yet another Enrichment aim at developing an all round student. I am please to announce to the students that we remain committed to delivering what we set out to do right from the beginning of this brand new year.

In the spirit of the Olympics, on the 10 Jan, my team and I have launched the Sports Enrichment by grouping our students into four houses namely the colours of Honsbridge, White, Purple, Yellow and Green. The students have always been crazy about sports, I remember the first time when i asked them whether they wish to have a Sports Day last year, the students gave me so much heads up that I know there is no worry about attendance for Sports games.

Immediately on the 11 Jan, we had the students organised in the Futsal field to bond the old and new students in their Sports Houses. We have named the Sports Houses with the Marvel Heros as well to come up with the Mascots. The students were so excited that they came up with the design of their House T-shirts.

With Sports Houses in placed, we nominated House Captains, Vice Captains to lead their team members by doing warm up and cool down exercises as a team. The importance of Sportsmanship and Sportswomanship was emphasised to all the students. There would be ten indoor and outdoor games, the students will organise amongst themselves to represent their House. We are pleased that the sports houses have brought all the students of all levels closer together.

To all the students, they almost never miss attending the Sports Meet, the Sports Enrichment has certainly been well recieved.

All in all, a lot of organisation and supervision of the games by all the teachers have made the Sports Enrichment possible, I wish to send my deepest appreciation to and kudos to my team especially Mr Dominic and Mr Thiru for correcting the students, mentoring them and leading the students to where they are now.

The Honsbridge family is now united with the love for Sports!
