Honsbridge Academy provides the perfect foundation for boys and girls, aged 12-17. seeking to prepare for secondary or higher education in Malaysia and overseas.

Express IGCSE/ O Level Lower Programme (Age 12-14)

Start studying for your IGCSE/ O Level exams in April 2011. This programme combines high quality language tuition with subject teaching and is designed for students leading to their exams in three to four years. The programme consists of building a firm foundation in English, Mathematics, Science followed by an exam oriented study pathway to the IGCSE/ O Level exams in 2014.

Students typically need five IGCSE/ O Level exams at grades A to C to be sure of a place in the higher education of a good college. At the end of the programme, students can begin studying for programmes such as A-levels, the International Baccalaureate (IB), Southern Australian Matriculation (SAM), Canadian Matriculation Programme (CPU) the and American Degree Programme (ADP).

Cambridge IGCSE and O Level

Fees:

Termly fees for the academic year 2011/2012 are RM4800. There are three terms in a year.

Weekly tuition:

20 hours (Monday through Friday)

Weekly sports and activities:

1.5 hour

Subjects and qualifications:

In the first six terms of the programme students will study five subjects:

- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- History
- English Literature

In Jan 2013, the student will study English and Mathematics along with three or more chosen subjects leading to IGCSE/ O Level exams in four to six terms.

- English Literature

Students will take the IGCSE/ O Level exams in 2014.
