The exam term hath arrived.

The Honnets have been burning the midnight oil by studying hard and revising intensely, steeling themselves for the exams. For passing in these exams would guarantee them a place in one of the best, most prestigious colleges and universities in Malaysia and also all over the world.
To Honnets who have not passed their exams, let it be known that there are always second chances in life and mistakes should be seen as lessons to be learned. Yes, there are successful people such as Bill Gates, Colonel Harlan Sanders and JK Rowling, but they worked harder without a degree and takes them years to succeed. There more risks ahead for those without a degree, but success rewards those who grit their teeth and stay determined despite all odds.
To Honnets who do passed their exams, congratulations! But don’t rest on your laurels just yet, Honnets. Far greater challenges lie ahead in your path to success, for you’ll be facing new friends & faces in colleges, and soon your new jobs. The degree you’ll be working hard for would at least land you a decent 9-5 job, but think of them as first steps to your dream career. Don’t expect praises & accolades, just keep working hard & smart. And always save! Save up until you feel it’s enough to jumpstart your own independent career.
Either you have passed or not, it’s hard work, determination, balanced temperament & wits that should get you to succeed in life. If you have neither of those, build them, grow them and keep at it. Meanwhile, expand yourself. Learn new things, make new friends, network with potential people etc. While you work. Maybe they land you a better job, who knows.
For now, for Honnets who have studied hard for the exams, celebrations ahead await! On 23 November 2016, there will be a school trip to Malacca. Honnets will get to visit historical sites such as the A Famosa, as well as modern sites such as the Upside Down House Gallery, plus shopping, food & fun!
Look forward too to the upcoming Christmas celebrations such the Christmas Bash and Secret Santa exchanges.
Until then, good luck and goodspeed, fellow Honnets!
